Plimoth Patuxet Museums
Step back to the 1620s with The Plimoth Patuxet Museums. They’re among the most popular tourist attractions in the Boston area, and we highly recommend it as a family day trip.
The most noteworthy feature is the living museum that allows you to walk through a 17-century English village to see the living conditions of early immigrants. Known as Plymouth Colony, this village includes timber-framed houses, kitchen gardens bursting with aromatic plants, and even actors in historical costumes. Everything is reenacted so that you feel like you’re walking back in time.
Other features of the Plimoth Patuxet museum collection include a reproduction of the Mayflower, a grist mill, and a craft center. You can purchase a Heritage Pass that gives access to all museums in the group or choose which Boston Plymouth museums you want to experience.
Location: 137 Warren Avenue, Plymouth
Cost of Admission: $42.50 adult Heritage Pass, $38.25 senior Heritage Pass, $27.50 child Heritage Pass
